She nodded and had been about to say something more when the boys came in from playing on the beach. “Uncle Thor!” Narfi, the younger of the two, said happily, going over to hug Thor.

Thor plucked him up into his arms, and sat the little boy on his knee.

Tears pricked her eyes, “It seems I was.” She whispered into his chest while her small hands gripped him tighter. “I love you so much, I just couldn’t stand to hurt you anymore.”

“Tony likes it.” She said with a shrug, “If you haven’t noticed at times the man enjoys life with a drink in his hand.” She was used to it, most everyone was, but she could understand how and why Thor would be curious about it and question it, “Most of the time he drinks Scotch though, it’s his favorite.” How did she have this knowledge? Well it was fairly common knowledge, but you pretend to work for someone you learn their quirks, and especially when that had been part of the reason anyways.
