Lise’s eyes widened. “T-Thor! I can’t take this,” She said, pushing it back to him. “Keep it.”
“I can get another. Tony leaves them laying about.”
“I can’t take this from you. It’s yours, you need it…”
“Tis not mine but Lord Starks. He knows not that I have it, and I would gladly lend it to you to pay for a prostesis.”
“I…” Annalise merely nodded then put the credit card in her pocket with a small sigh. “Why do you talk that way, Thor?”
“Why do you speak in the manner that you do?”
Lise went to open her mouth to speak but closed it with a small smile. “Touche.”
“We speak, I believe in whatever manner we were raised to.”

Biting her lip, she found herself laughing. “Tell them I was hormonal and my powers acted up. Very simple. Or tell them it is none of their business for you are a married prince.”
He smiled, and said nothing.
“Besides,” She spoke out snuggling into him. “They’d never believe it was I who was the violent one.”
He wasn’t sure how this conversation made him feel. That she did not recall all of the hurtful things she said, and that someone could believe that he could be violent with her, both made him feel… what? He knew he didn’t like the idea, but he wasn’t sure to what level it bothered him.

Grazing his earlobe with her teeth, she giggled at his words. “No proof of me committing such an act, therefor it means it has never happened.”

“Yes, when did I do this again? I say no proof.” Pulling his earlobe with her teeth.

“You ought not have done that, my lady,” he said, “I have money enough to purchase frozen treats.”
Lise shook her head. “It’s okay, my dad gave me some money.’ She was silent as she began to eat her ice cream, just as several guys walked in. Immediately they began to laugh and point at her, making fun of her missing arm.
Thor took a bite of ice cream, and spat it at them. It landed in the face of one with a splat. He hissed at them, as if he was mad until they ran away.
Annalise raised her eyes to Thor. “You didn’t have to do that. I’m rather used to it by now.”
“But you oughtn’t be. People care too much for outer beauty. They mock you for what they see as a flaw, not realizing their flaws go so much deeper. You could have a prostetic made. There is nary a prostetic soul to be found in this realm.”
“I…I can’t afford that. And neither can my dad.” She murmured before looking down at her ice cream which was half-melted. Pushing it towards Thor, she sighed. “Here, I’m not hungry.”
